Elizabeth Andrea Bitsie Tulloch, born on 19 January 1981, is an American actress. She played the role of Eve and Juliette on Grimm, the NBC series Grimm as well as Lois Lane as part of The CWArrowverse series including Superman & Lois. Tulloch was born in San Diego California and grew as a child in Spain Uruguay and Argentina. Tulloch uses the name Bitsie and is not a diminutive of her real name Elizabeth however it is a tribute to her grandfather who was a bizarrely named World War II bomber pilot who also was involved in the tragic 1961 Goldsboro B52 plane crash. At the time Tulloch began her acting career, she was known with the name Bitsie and continued to be until 2017, when she chose to switch her name to Elizabeth instead of explaining why she still go by Bitsie. Just like I've always done and will continue to do, I'm Bitsie when I speak to someone. It worked in the beginning when I started acting, when I was in my early 20s. The method worked well when I was in my early 20s. Now at the age of 30, I'm thinking I'd like to do it again for payment. This was not an idea I'd ever thought of. Producer said "Hey we saw Elizabeth when we were filling out your legal documents." Do you like this way of billing? Then I called both my agent and manager to ask their opinion. As you get older, it's time to get on with your life. Bitsie's name is adorable. It's cutesy. The truth is that it was just this. Elizabeth is not mine anymore. Its just for billing going forward. Tulloch is a native of Scotland and has Scottish and Spanish roots. Tulloch said that her main mother tongue is Spanish but she does not consider herself proficient in Spanish. Her grandfather's family was originally from Kirkwall as was her mother's from Renfrewshire. In an article for BBC News, she stated that that the Tullochs came to the US around 1880. And the Kerrs came at the beginning of the century. The school she attended was middle as well as high school in Bedford, New York, after her return back to the U.S. Tulloch received a magnacum-laude at Harvard University, with double majors in English and American Literature and visual and environmental research.
