Richard Bruce Cheney is the child of Richard Herbert Cheney of the late Marjorie Lauraine Dickey. He was born on the 30th of January 1941, within Lincoln Nebraska. Cheney moved to Casper, Wyoming with his family at the age of 13. His father, who worked for the U.S. Department of Agriculture, directed the soil conservation district located in Casper.
