Emily VanCamp

Emily Irene VanCamp, a Canadian actor and actress, is known for playing the lead in many television programs as well as her impressive performances in films. Her fan base is large both on American and Canadian television. Emily first became interested when she saw her sister Katie doing a movie. As Emily discovered her passion of acting, she enrolled in taking classes in acting and auditions. She was initially cast in commercials, but she was not cast until getting a part on the Canadian television show for children Are You Are You Scared of Darkness? She was only seen in one scene, without dialog. At the age of 15, Emily got her first big break when she became an official character on the WB TV show Glory Days. Emily's role in the show by WB Glory Days that was cancelled nine episodes later, caught the attention and interest of Greg Berlanti from Dawson's Creek. Emily can also be a dancer also a photographer, and was named one of Teen's top 20 actors. Maxim ranked her 51st in its Hot 100 of 2014.
